Mission
- The formation of human resources (i.e., professors, researchers, and entrepreneurs in the field of biotechnology) with the capacity to promote the scientific, economic, and social development of the state of Ceará in a rational and sustainable manner is of the utmost importance.
- The development of biotechnological products and processes applicable in the domains of health and agriculture for addressing society demands and enhancing population well-being.
